My name is Cyndi and I have been raising Keeshonds since 1980. My first one was purchased at a pet store in my hometown, when I was 23 years old. I fell in love with the little furry critter sitting in a window, even though he had some health issues he was with me for 13 years. All of my Keeshonds live inside my home, I thought about adding a kennel to my home, but that would defeat the purpose of having them be a part of my family. They are my kids and part of my family and an even bigger part of my life. We have a little over 2 acres of land and a nice fenced in area for the doggies to run and play. Two of my Keeshonds are currently in Agility training and 2 compete in Conformation, 1 competes in Rally and 1 is trainging for her Herding title. I am a Nurse and work full time with Geriatrics, quite frequently I take some of my Kees to work with me. The faces of our older folks light up when there is a dog in the house to pet and hug. We have a room specifically for our dogs, it is located right off of my living room for easy access, its a huge room, they have memory foam beds, (how is that for comfort). They have a large tv, air conditioning, and so many toys you can't even imagine. (My dogs are more comfortable than I am) Yes they are spoiled but they deserve it, they are my kids. We have Agility equipment that we set up in the spring in the back yard to practice with and honestly they just love to play on the equipment. We have also added a grooming room to the dog house to make sure everyone looks their best. All of my Keeshonds are PHPT Tested and Negative and all are OFA cert. free of Patellar Luxation, CERF clear. We are testing our dogs hips/elbows and results have been submitted to OFA and or Penn Hip . Also we have obtained Cardiac clearances. Proud member of the Gloucester County Kennel Club.
We are located in Monroeville, NJ a rural community consisting of farm land and local charm. If coming a long distance for your new puppy why not make a weekend trip and visit some of the sites NJ has to offer. How about a trip to historic Cape May? Walk on the boardwalk at the Wildwoods or Atlantic City, all of these destinations are about 1 hour from Monroeville. We also have local farm markets specializing in Jersey Corn and, of course Jersey Tomatoes. Even though we are rural, we are still only 1/2 hour from Philadelphia, PA.
Come and meet me along with my husband, my Keeshonds, my husband's two personal pets, Bubby his cat and Samantha his Lab/Beagle mix. We love visitors and all our pets will greet you with waggy tails.
Our pups are born out of love and arrive occassionally. Be the first to reserve a pup, add your name to our waiting list. When it is time to take your puppy home you will be given a packet containing the health records on the parents, health records on the puppy with which vaccinations were given, also the pedigree of the parent or parents, the result of the temperment testing, breed specific info. Along with that I send home a baby blanket that has been rubbed on all of the puppies and all of the adult dogs here at Clingmey Keeshonden so the puppy has the scent of the dogs here and the siblings, also one of the toys they have been playing with, plus a bag of the food they have been eating here.
